How NeoGraft® FUE Hair Restoration Works
NeoGraft is an automated system for follicular unit extraction — the technique that has largely replaced older “strip” methods. Instead of removing a band of scalp tissue and closing it with sutures, individual follicular units are harvested one at a time using gentle pneumatic pressure.
Harvesting the Donor Area
Follicles are collected from the back and sides of the scalp, where hair growth is typically most stable over time. Because each unit is extracted individually through a tiny circular punch, there’s no linear scar and no need for stitches. Donor sites heal as small dots that become difficult to see once hair grows back in — which means shorter styles stay an option.
Placing the Grafts
Each follicular unit is placed into the thinning area at a matched angle and depth. The follicles are handled minimally and kept out of the body for as little time as possible, which supports healthy survival and growth.
